Thirty years ago, when they handed you to me for the first time and I looked into that level, blue baby stare I thought: "Uh-oh, this one is going to keep us up to the mark."
And you have. Thank you for always being the arbiter of excellence and for putting up with your eccentric family.
We are so very proud of you and love you so much.

Your daughter is a real beauty, Sal, but that's no surprise. I hope she has a wonderful birthday!
